Architects, specifiers and contractors will be delighted to know that the popular
'Code of Best Practice' for Aircrete products is now available on-line.
The guide, which has been produced collectively by the UK's major Aircrete manufacturers, is an easy
reference for all aspects of aircrete design and construction. The comprehensive forty-page document
combines essential information, in a single authoritative industry code.
The guide is written to provide authoritative advice on good design, practical applications, robust
details and best practice in one comprehensive document. It also provides essential information to
ensure that specifiers comply with the increasingly stringent Building Regulations.
Users of the on-line Guide will be able to access the whole document. However, for simplicity, users
will be able to zip from page to page and there is easy reference to each individual chapter and they
will be able to download or print any of the information they require. The guide is available from
the Aircrete website and to ensure users have the most up-to-date information the website will alert
users as soon as any updates are completed.
Mike Flynn, Chairman of the APA marketing committee, commented; "There was a huge demand
for the document when it was first produced just over two years ago However, legislation is continually
changing and we can now ensure that users can be confident that they have information on the very latest
aspects or changes to the design and use of Aircrete products."
