The Aircrete Products Association (APA) has produced Building Block No 2, which is
the second in a series which aims to keep the industry informed of the benefits of building with Aircrete.
Sustainability is at the very top of the Government agenda as builders are urged to use environmentally friendly
construction methods. Aircrete building blocks not only meet Government requirements and Building Regulations, but offer a
versatility and ease of use that has long been associated with this type of construction method.
Aircrete is robust and durable and throughout its life in a building requires little maintenance. Aircrete is also 100
percent recyclable and can be reused at the end of a structure’s life.
Aircrete blocks are manufactured using environmentally friendly materials which present no risk of pollution to water or air.
All Aircrete products are manufactured at plants which operate strict environmental Management Systems and Aircrete
manufactured in the UK is for the UK market, cutting down on the effect on the environment of worldwide transportation
of goods.
