The design flexibility afforded to builders by using Aircrete has become one of the major selling
points for the product. In order to keep the industry aware of these advantages the Aircrete Products Association
(APA) has produced Building Block No 3, the third in a series outlining the major advantages of selecting Aircrete
as a construction material.
Aircrete is ideal for all types of buildings and has been developed for use in many applications, ranging from
external and internal walls through to foundations, floors and rapid build systems.
There are very few design limitations with Aircrete and this allows designers and architects to create either
innovative or traditional buildings.
Aircrete allows changes to be made during the construction process and as an established and popular build method,
many builders and craftsmen prefer working with this material as it is proven and familiar.
For further information on the design flexibility of Aircrete, Building Block No 3, along with the rest of the
Building Block series, can be downloaded from the APA website; www.aircrete.co.uk.
The APA is a manufacturer organisation whose members include the major producers' of Aircrete products in the
UK - H+H Celcon, Quinn-Lite, Thermalite and Tarmac Topblock. It is a non-profit making organisation, dedicated
to promoting the benefits of Aircrete building products and supporting the use and specification of this versatile
and proven material.
