No news is definitely bad news when it comes to ever-changing building
regulations, but thanks to the APA, builders and specifiers can now receive updates
on regulations when published.
The APA has recently launched a 'No News is Bad News' feature on its website
which enables industry professionals to register their details and then receive
email updates as soon as they are available.
The feature was launched on the new-look Aircrete website in May and it's
already proving to be extremely popular.
Mike Flynn, Chairman of the APA marketing committee, commented: "Within days of being
launched hundreds of builders and specifiers had registered to receive the updates,
so we are confident that this will prove to be an extremely valuable resource for
the industry."
The updates can relate to a number of areas including, modern methods of construction,
thin joint systems and health safety, among others.
